Are you looking for a unique campsite for your weekend getaway? Plan an unusual stay in an orchard, farm or treehouse!
Campspace is ideal for those looking for a unique, small-scale campsite. You won't find large campsites with busy cafeterias, screaming children and swimming pools here. Instead, you'll find specja, campsites, in hidden places far from crowds. In this overview, you will find beautiful gardens on dead-end paths offered by hospitable hosts, cosy places where you can relax in a hammock and cook every morning with ingredients from the vegetable garden. All of them are wonderful, set up by the host themselves with a deep appreciation for nature. When flowers are in full bloom, you will find lots of bees and in the morning the birds will be your natural alarm clock. If you would like to be left to your own devices, choose a private pitch. If you prefer to be in touch with the people around you, choose a campspace with room for more guests. Most sites are suitable for a tent or campervan, but some also have on-site accommodation. Sometimes this is a large tipi tent, a converted vardo wagon, or even a treehouse!
A few nice suggestions: at Eline's campspace you will find a hot tub! At Svenja's you stay on a farm and at Mark and Sonja's you are on the edge of a forest.
What almost all the sites have in common is that they are equipped with all conveniences. There is almost always a toilet and a hot shower. In some places the toilet is a compost toilet and sometimes the shower water is only heated by the heat of the sun, but that makes the experience extra special and is also very sustainable.
You won't find an entertainment team here, but you probably won't be looking for one either. These campsites offer the opportunity to really spend time together as a family, as friends or as partners. You'll find board games at some of these campspaces or you can bring your own.
In addition, you can go on beautiful walks and cycle routes in the vicinity of these places. You can bring your own bikes or ask the host if you can rent bikes in the neighbourhood or at the campspace itself. You should also ask the host for tips about the surrounding area. No one knows the area better than the host. You can then decide for yourself whether you want to visit a number of towns or villages or go looking for wild animals in the countryside.
Extra fun, in the vicinity of many places is water. That is why you can also go canoeing or kayaking, go supping or spend a day fishing.
