About this location

The origins of this wooden mill date back to the 12th century. Rebuilt in brick and flint just before the French Revolution, it was heightened 100 years later. Still operational for milling today, and although it no longer has running water, the wheel turns electrically and regularly grinds grain. The preservation association organizes various events throughout the season (early April to late October), each featuring the baking of brioches in the bakehouse next to the mill.

We are a heritage preservation association dedicated to maintaining this historic mill site as a public venue and social hub. Our mission includes preserving milling and baking activities on-site. We organize annual cultural events and workshops on grain-to-bread baking and wetland biodiversity. The mill interior (not accessible for safety reasons) can be explored via virtual reality. Picnic tables are available for guests.
