When and how will I be paid?

How does it work for SuperCamp hosts?

You were a SuperCamp host on HomeCamper, then you are still a SuperCamp host on HomeCamper | Campspace. 

How does the booking process work?

You have two possibilities here: either you wish to receive reservation requests that you need to approve within 48 hours or you allow instant booking in which case you can apply this to one or all your pitch types.

How do I make my advertisement more attractive?

Hosts who provide quality photos receive 5 times more bookings. Today's campers are persuaded to book a camping spot by clear photography and reviews from other guests. A good cover photo is the key to success. In this photo you need to show everybody the best aspects of your campsite, not the camping gear. Make sure it is clear and shows a lot of your space.

We are happy to tell you how you can take clear and adventurous photos: 

  1. Take horizontal photos (landscape). This allows you to capture more of the environment in one photo. 

  2. Take a photo when your space is at its best. For example late afternoon when the light from the sun is warm and soft.

  3. Sign up for the scout programme.

How do I change my prices?

You can add a base price which is referring to the price your guests pay most of the time ans you have now the possibility to add price rates on top of that which allow you to change your prices for a specific moment in time e.g. during the olympics, in high season, or a busy holiday weekend.

How do I offer more than one spot?

You can create multiple pitch types and manage your different spots all in one listing e.a. you want to advertise a campervan spot and a tree house, simply create 2 different pitch types in your host menu.

What new functionalities do I have as a host?

As a lot of you requested you will now be able to decide on your own cancellation policy, synchronize your calendar with other platforms and your own internal system and offer products and services to your listing e.a. bicycle rental, local produce basket, wine tasting or yoga class.

How much does it cost for hosts?

As a HomeCamper | Campspace host you will pay 6% with a 2,- minimum over your night stay price. You won’t be charged any commission over your offered products and services. 

How does HomeCamper | Campspace work for hosts?

You get the best of both worlds as a HomeCamper x Campspace host. It works the same way as usual but with some additional features like the possibility to offer products and services, publish a ready made widget on your external website/blog, a native support team at your disposal for all your queries and much much more.

How does the cancellation policy work?

You decide as a host which cancellation policy you wish to apply to your space either: 

  1. Flexible: Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.

  2. Moderate: Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

  3. Strict: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Per default your cancellation policy will be set to strict.

What happened to my bookings from HomeCamper?

All bookings from HomeCamper will be migrated to HomeCamper x Campspace. If you have bookings with a check-in date after 24-06-24 you can view, manage and edit your booking here. You also should have received a separate mailing with further information on this topic. 

Your previous bookings will also be migrated, however this may take some extra time. 

I can not log in. What should I do?

You can login to the HomeCamper | Campspace website using your HomeCamper login credentials. If you forgot your credentials you can request a one time login link to be sent to your email here.
