About this location

Enjoy this beautiful sloping meadow, as the host wishes for you!
On the "level" section in the lower part of the meadow (approx. 5x10m²) you are welcome to set up a tent.
Feel free to mow the paths and terraces with the reel mower as you like.
Far from any civilization, you can enjoy the peace and the sound of trees rustling in the wind.
It is a sloping meadow with a small, very basic terrace with a bench and a fire bowl.
Firewood can be found under the stilt house next to the pitch.
The pitch is located directly next to an agricultural access road, where hikers and vehicles occasionally pass on their way to the green waste collection point. From the terrace, a hornbeam hedge provides good privacy from the road, though not from neighboring properties. Usually you are quite alone there, as no one else is on their weekend plot.
Beautiful views over the Strudelbach valley, the Heckengäu region, and into the Black Forest.
The Netto supermarket in Hochdorf can be reached on foot in 20 minutes (though there are 30 meters of elevation gain involved).
A nice circular walk to the Celtic Museum in Hochdorf and the burial mound and back is easily doable on foot in about 1.5 hours. In summer you can also walk to the open-air pool in Eberdingen in 45 minutes.
The meadow requires maintenance. Therefore, it is possible that the host or his children will carry out maintenance and harvesting work on the meadow. Such work sessions last less than 2 hours, but please be prepared for such meetings with us if necessary.
When not booked, the meadow serves as a family retreat, so sometimes not everything is perfectly tidy. Sorry.
It still invites you perfectly to relax.
Important: There is no toilet and no running water on this meadow. So definitely bring a camping toilet.
Enjoy your time there, as we do again and again.
