About this location

Our campsite is located on a former farm in a secluded spot just outside St. Peter at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. The pitches are situated on a meadow right next to the farm. The meadow isn't perfectly level everywhere, but so far everyone has managed to find a spot where their sleeping area is level. Leveling blocks are still a good idea, though. 😊 There are sunny pitches with electricity and a few shady spots, although almost all of these don't have electrical hookups and are therefore more suitable for self-sufficient campers. It's very quiet up here, far away from traffic noise and light pollution. On clear nights, you can see a beautiful starry sky. Official hiking trails start right at the farm. The Hirschbach and Zweribach waterfalls are also within walking distance. The campsite is also a great starting point for cycling and motorcycle tours – or simply for relaxing and doing nothing. The access road is about 1.5 kilometers long, along well-maintained but unpaved forest tracks. It's important to arrive via St. Peter, as other suggested routes are not accessible all the way to our campsite. Shopping and restaurants can be found in St. Peter, about six kilometers away. Drinking water is free, and Wi-Fi is available near the house and garage. There's hardly any cell phone reception or internet directly on the pitches – perfect for a bit of a digital detox! 😊 Very important, especially for guests with tents: We don't have toilets, showers, or any other sanitary facilities. Therefore, you absolutely must bring your own toilet. If you're looking for peace and quiet, nature, and a hassle-free campsite, you've come to the right place. We look forward to seeing you!
