About this campspace

Welcome to a place of peace and calm which allows you to recharge your batteries and observe nature. (music and parties prohibited)

Reserve the pond and the 32 acres of land just for you, your group, family and/or couple. A private, life-size experience in the heart of the national park between Sambre and Meuse! (The national park mention is very recent for Viroinval, since 2023)

We welcome you to this place reserved for nature lovers and guaranteeing your privacy (In fact, we only welcome one group at a time.)

The framework :

Private wooded property with a clearing, a 10-acre pond and direct access to hundreds of km of marked paths in a hilly landscape.

You have a private entrance through the gate to park your vehicle on the gravel driveway, as well as 32 acres of greenery to pitch your tent, enjoy the birdsong and the running water. At night, the sky is visible in the center of the clearing and is protected from light pollution.

This private campsite is located on the outskirts of the village, you have the forest within reach and easy access to the village, you are sheltered from prying eyes thanks to the trees. We ask for silence from 10 p.m.

Our garden adjoins the pond property, you will have the opportunity to see our herd of goats and our horse. This is why we prefer not to welcome dogs.

The location :

You arrange your tents at your convenience throughout the terrain. It's actually one big campsite.

Vans and mini-vans can easily park next to the log fire while remaining on the gravel driveway (specify length in your reservation request)

Sanitary facilities:

You benefit from a tiled shelter of 3.5m2 with a sink (drinking water), and a classic WC.

An unusual outdoor shower. (Hot shower with a pressure shower)

The equipment:

!!! New!!!! You also benefit from a small chalet (concrete slab) 12m2 with an equipped kitchen and a space to eat at the table in the shelter:

- Fridge, kettle, freezer, storage cabinet, sink (for summer)
- It is possible to put a two or three person tent in the shelter

In good weather there are also two deck chairs and chairs for enjoying the sun by the pond.

It is possible to put your horse in an equestrian center located 800m away, ask us for more information.

Lovely 'back to nature' at the pond of Romain and Delphine! The area is really beautiful, there were several hiking trails that passed along the property. Enjoying pure camping, a campfire and cooking on the outdoor stove was great. very nice experience, beautiful meadow with sufficient space and privacy. we were there in winter and there was more than enough firewood for us to use.
there is a cubicle with toilet, and a kettle is available. ideal for our needs.
