Beautiful natural garden in a rural setting.
A pottery workshop is also located in the garden, the lady of the house is the driving force here. If desired, a workshop can also be followed. See https://www.lapotterieke.be
The man is a beekeeper, so a lot of attention is paid to everything that grows and flowers in the garden. When working on the bees, you can always watch. Or help if you dare ;-)

Visit the SAS 4 tower in Dessel for a nice view of the unique crossroads of canals.
Postel Abbey and its surrounding forests are definitely worth a visit.

For me a first beautiful experience via campspace. Lovely spot in the garden between beehives and chickens, nice shower and toilet and as a special service the possibility to get a cold beer for a fee.

Nice place, lovely in the shade. And above all very quiet, view of the 2 sheep, and in the background the scratching of the chickens! Recommended!

We stayed for one night and enjoyed the wellness and bliss of the shady camping spot in the heat-rich days we were there.
How was the contact with the host?
Very nice, warm and sincere people. We also immediately 'lost' our girl to their lovely daughter Madelon, who took them on an adventure, so that was nice for both ladies.

Enjoy it!

What a beautiful garden! You get a place in the middle of the lush nature, in the back of the garden, but with all facilities. Very handy that toilet, shower and washing up area are provided. The children had a great time on the play boat, trampoline and everything there was to see. We were taught about bees and pottery. Very interesting! Friendly hosts! There is also a very cozy campfire spot.
With charged batteries and a suitcase full of honey back home.
How was the contact with the host?
Very smooth! Very helpful and social people. Good children.
Tips for new guests?
For the children the pagadderpad and the pancake boat at SAS4. An ice cream and a drink in the summer bar opposite the house. And maybe it's best to choose a quiet day for Postel ;-).

Nice spacious place and especially green place. We came by bike with three small tents and there was more than enough space. Clean sanitary facilities, lovely shower and a sink to do the dishes.

Enjoyed 2 days camping in the garden of Mick and Annelies last weekend. Enjoyed the buzzing bees, the clucking chickens and of course the rooster that has yet to crow its manhood before dawn ;-). We were warmly welcomed by the host and hostess. All facilities as shown and visible in the photos are present, including well-maintained sanitary facilities in part of the large garden house. While the bees were at work, we could just enjoy this beautiful natural spectacle. For activities in the region, we have taken 2 walks, one towards 'retie' and the white net valley (the Hesselienpad is fun for the children), and one towards the molse lakes. Hiking nodes abound in this region.
How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly contact with Mick and Annelies. Attentive host and hostess.
Tips for new guests?
On a camping adventure with children, a walk to the Hesselienpad is a fun activity.

Very friendly welcome by Annelies and Mick!
The stay with Mick and Annelies was an absolute hit. At the back of the garden we were given the space to choose where we wanted to pitch our tent. A nice spot in the middle of the greenery, with a view of the vegetable garden and the sheep meadow. While setting up the tent, Mick came up with a nice slice of pizza, a leftover from their meal, ideal to satisfy the first hunger. Thank you for that! At the back of the garden there is a very neat sanitary facility. There is also a large, usable fridge; filled with a soft drink or a Belgian beer. The host was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended. We made a MTB trip along the many gravel paths in the area. After the overnight stay we went to Bobbejaanland for a day, only a 20min drive from our stay.

A friendly welcome by the host, a pleasant family who loves nature. All facilities mentioned on the site are present and very neat. A nice bonus, the instructive info from the beekeeper and we were lucky enough to take home a fresh jar of honey from the first honey extractor of the year to enjoy. Nice addresses, quick and easy contact. Within cycling distance are the Molse Meren, a piece of very beautiful nature for walking and enjoying a pick-nick. In the area you can use a very extensive cycling network.
