About this location

The site is located 15 minutes (by car) from Mont Saint-Michel, 25 minutes (by car) from the Normandy coast beaches between Avranches and Granville, and 2 km from the village of Pontaubault, where the Vélocénie, Vélomaritime, and GR22 cycling routes pass. Please note that this is not a municipal campsite with services, but rather a space made available to travelers by a private individual, in a spirit of simplicity and sharing. The site is equipped with a dry toilet (toilet paper provided), an outdoor shower, and a sink. (Cooking liquid provided) In the outbuilding, a kitchen area and a relaxation area are at your disposal. Community spirit, sharing, kindness, mutual support, respect for others, and conviviality are the values ​​that nurture and sustain this place. This communal living space has been under development for the past three years, with an eco-responsible approach, using only recycled materials. The property has been gradually improving over the years, but it's not yet exactly what I envision. There's still work to be done! Thank you for your openness! :-) I live on the property in July and August, and I love inviting my family and friends to share moments together. You'll be welcomed into a friendly, family atmosphere. There's a beautiful view of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, just 400 meters from the property, where you can go to admire the magnificent sunsets. The property is fully fenced and located in a small, quiet hamlet. Activities - Visit to Mont Saint-Michel and its bay - Bay Ecomuseum - Ange Michel amusement park - Greenway, cycle route (Vélocénie and Vélomaritime) 2km away - Crossing of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel (departure from Genêts) - A bus line runs from Pontaubault to Mont Saint-Michel and another to Avranches - The town offers an electric bike rental service (bikes delivered to your door) Other remarks: - We cannot accommodate motorhomes longer than 5 meters - Dogs are allowed to roam freely on the grounds. However, it is necessary to bring a leash to keep them on a leash when needed (for example, when campers arrive to set up, or when children are playing ball, etc.). We thank pet owners in advance for walking behind their animals, out of respect for everyone. - Please note that the site is located in agricultural land. Also, during harvest time, it's possible to see and hear farmers working in their fields at all hours. - Finally, depending on the wind direction, you can sometimes hear the dual carriageway located 2km away.
