About this location

A simple stopover on a dairy farm very close to Mont Saint-Michel (parking: 5 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bike (flat), ideal for hikers and cyclists). People come here for the authenticity, the safe and natural environment suitable for children, the peace and quiet, the proximity to the Mont, the practical and very simple facilities (dry toilets and outdoor shower (hot water tap available)), and the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a small family dairy farm where cows graze on grass and drink delicious milk. Arrival and settling in are self-catering. Our young Beauceron dog, Vasco, may be nearby. The surrounding greenery is a haven for birds, close to the farm buildings, and the site is enclosed and away from traffic. Please send us a message when booking to let us know if you are in a tent, van, rooftop tent, car, on foot, or by bike, and the reason for your visit. Activities in the village of Beauvoir: bar/tobacconist, bakery offering sandwiches, Restaurants, mini-market. In Pontorson: grocery stores and Carrefour Market, market on Wednesdays. Other remarks: No use of the family kitchen in the house. No hammock.

We are a farming couple in our forties with two young daughters. Benoît runs our dairy farm, which he converted to organic in 2021. He milks about forty cows morning and evening, which are fed primarily on grass. We also have 15 chickens, cats, and a two-year-old Beauceron dog. For us, camping is a source of escape and personal growth, through the many encounters and travel stories we share. For Benoît, it's also a way to share his work and ideas with anyone who's interested! Together, we've taken several cycling trips and also had a wonderful holiday on the Île d'Oléron, camping on a bare plot of land (solar shower, public toilets, fresh air...).
