To sum up: We want to come back !



We loved the place: a quiet and beautiful garden, with only 2 spots for the guests. That's what we were looking for: tranquility.



Pieter-Jan gave us a very well-detailed "tour" of the garden, explaining us why he is cultivating this variety of plant / tree etc. We could see he is really passionated about what he is doing, and he was sincerely willing to share it !

Furthermore, he made some groceries at the organic farm nearby for us, as we were running late to get some.

We had the opportunity to enjoy the natural swimming pool, as well as the sauna. All the facilities are very clean!



His wife and their kids are super cool, and we shared nice conversations around the brasero.



We enjoyed the neighbourhood, and even went to the sea side (there is 40 minutes long bus nearby to go to Oostende)

My boyfriend and I had a great stay with Pieterjan and Ann-Sophie! A beautiful, peaceful place in the green surroundings of their orchard; with many possibilities: cool off in the deep natural pool, light a fire in the evening, bbq, a lovely shower, by bike in an hour on the beach of Ostend, tree climbing (also highly recommended for adults), day trips to Ghent and Bruges and the possibility to use a wood-fired sauna! What does a man want more!

PieterJan and Ann-Sophie are very relaxed, nice people. Helpful, quiet, cozy! Always ready, make you feel at home and give you space to enjoy a nice holiday!

Tips for new guests?
Enjoy the peace, right around you, definitely go tree climbing with PieterJan and enjoy trips in the area (enjoy the sea and don't miss the beautiful Bruges!) And don't forget a special beer, now that you're there yet you are..

What a wonderful time it was between cycling through this gem of nature. We were received super friendly and could enjoy the wonderful view of the sheep, the swimming pond, the sauna, the playground. The location is suitable for adults seeking peace and quiet as well as for families with small/older children. There is a spacious playing field, playground equipment and trampoline available. As a mom, I was out with 4 adolescent 14-year-olds and they could enjoy themselves with the sauna, swimming pond and campfire. Highly recommended, this gem!!!
