What a wonderful place: with our ladies' hiking group we were able to pitch four tents in a spacious garden with plenty of shade. We had access to sanitary facilities (toilet and shower) in the utility room and made grateful use of the swimming pool in the garden. Only minus was the motocross within earshot, which cut our Sunday rest a little bit. Other than that, we had no reason to complain.
How was the contact with the host?
We were very warmly welcomed by hostess Anne: with a bunch of flowers on the picnic table, a bowl of fresh raspberries from the garden and a pitcher of water. Anne introduced us extensively into the ins and outs of our place to stay and in the evening she also brought candles (with matches). We couldn't have done better.
Tips for new guests?
Don't forget your swimming gear to take a splash in the (unheated but blissful) pool!
