About this location

Two very scenic, close to nature, quiet and beautifully located, paved pitches with good facilities: electricity (billing according to consumption) and fresh water on site, toilet, shower, washbasin and sink in the wet room for camping guests, waste water disposal point, free WiFi, bicycle garage with options for chaining up and charging your e-bikes. Seating area with barbecue area on the newly landscaped green area for visitors and our residents. If you love nature and animals, you've come to the right place. Whether it's the calls of the numerous birds of prey and wild birds that make us look up to the sky, or the horses, some of which can be seen bucking exuberantly or grazing quietly on the pastures and orchards. There's also a pony that loves children.
Ecology is very important to us - whether it is our own large PV system, the heat pump and thermal solar system that provide us with energy and heat, or the cisterns that use rainwater to flush the toilets... the ecological management of the green areas allows numerous types of flowers to sprout in spring, to the delight of bees and other insects.
The surrounding area and the surrounding area invite you to a variety of excursions. Whether varied hikes or bike tours, a visit to Hohenzollern Castle or the rocky town of Haigerloch with its sights, nearby bathing lakes invite you to cool off in the summer, exciting canoe trips on the Neckar... we are happy to give you tips for activities.
quiet, view of forest, meadows, orchards, horse pastures, personal and individual space, no mass operation
The activities
Beautiful hiking and cycling trails in the unique and varied nature: directly from the square, with beautiful views, mountain, river or valley or flatter, everything is possible. Visits to Hohenzollern Castle and towns in the surrounding area such as Balingen (State Garden Show 2023, beautiful center with pedestrian zone and promenade along the stream), Horb a. N. (beautiful old town, famous knight's games in June), Rottweil (oldest town in Baden Württemberg, elevator test tower, climbing hall, adventure pool), Rottenburg - great destination for a bike tour with a stop at the market square, not least our rock town of Haigerloch with its numerous sights... and much more, we are happy to give tips
Other notes
We are not far from the Empfingen exit of the Stuttgart / Singen motorway - therefore also interesting for those passing through who would like to make a nice stop.

Perfect for...

Nature lovers, horse lovers, hikers, cyclists, those seeking peace and quiet...
