About this location

Welcome to my large garden, located on the edge of the forest and surrounded by fields. Here you can not only enjoy the beautiful nature, but also get to know our animal residents. We have dogs, sheep and ponies that liven up our garden and create a special atmosphere. Set up your van or tent with us and immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of the surroundings.
Just a 20-minute walk away, an idyllic swimming lake awaits you where you can refresh and relax. The Oste, which flows nearby, invites you to take relaxed walks and go fishing. If you like hiking, you should definitely visit the nearby Wingst. Fantastic hiking trails, an amusement park and a small forest zoo await you here, which is a highlight especially for families. And the best thing is that the North Sea is only a short drive away from our place, so you can easily take a trip there.

  • A boat trip with the Ostekieker, Natural History Museum Natureum (approx. 20 min. from us), water skiing, diving in the chalk lake, cycling tour

  • The silence at night and the often clear starry sky are always magnificent

  • Visit the farm shop near our station restaurant and treat yourself to an Angus burger from species-appropriate rearing.

  • In the neighboring town of Hemmoor (15 min. by bike) there are several nice restaurants

  • After a nice bike ride along the Oste you can treat yourself to homemade ice cream at the Eisschmiede
