Absolutely delightful stay on their farm. The field is set back out of site of the farm in a lovely valley looking across to their vines and up towards the forest. It feels like you are absolutely in the middle of nowhere but just 15 minutes outside the city so super convenient. It was incredibly peacefully and we got a beautiful starry night. There is also a shepherds hut with toilets. We unfortunately only had one night but would stay here again. Thank you

Cornelia & Cristoph are excellent hosts. When we arrived they showed us our camping spot for the night with a smile. The spot was located between the beautiful meadows and vineyards from wich they produce their own excellent wine. What a view! At sunset you get a beautiful image of the cows, horses and sheep in nature.
The location is equipped with clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. There's even an outside shower for the warm sunny days with a view of the cows grazing.
We enjoyed our stay there so much that we booked an extra night. The hosts were very flexible and answered our messages and questions very quickly.
The location feels very secluded and 'in the middle of nowhere' and yet it's just a 15 min drive away from Freiburg. If you're looking for a place to stay in the middle of the Black Forest, this is it.
We'll definitely be coming back to this little piece of paradise.

The course is located in a beautiful hilly landscape in absolute tranquility. Regardless of the hillside, we found a straight pitch for our HDK - and after our stay in Switzerland we particularly enjoyed the cows without bells...

Cornelia is a great host - we received a warm and friendly welcome - due to our further journey we could not exactly predict the time of arrival, which we communicated. Thank you Cornelia for your flexibility!

The place is right next to the vines from which Cornelia and the family press wine - the wine and sparkling wine are available - well chilled to buy directly at the farm - I recommend the Wildtäler Sonnenberg Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs, which is surprisingly fresh and slightly sparkling. Ideal for relaxing after a day of travel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the campsite. There was not really a flat surface because you camp on a hill but none the less we had a good time for one night.

How was the contact with the host?
We didn’t really speak with anyone, they just told us where to put our tent. If we wanted to taste their wine, we could just go to them and ask for it.

Tips for new guests?
If you bring a tent, make sure to bring sturdy tent pegs and bring a hammer.
