About this location

Hello, I offer you a pitch for your tent in my garden in the heart of the historic center of Verneuil sur Avre, a pretty medieval village with a beautiful heritage to visit and a rich history!
Close to many hiking trails (GR22, GR35, PR, a greenway, the tour of the ditches and the historic center in Verneuil and many hiking loops), many forests, notably in the magnificent Perche, Chartres 1 hour away, Paris 1 hour 30 minutes away, the Normandy coast and its immense beaches less than 2 hours away, Swiss Normandy 1 hour 30 minutes away, Rouen 1 hour away, Evreux and Dreux 1/2 hour away.
So there is plenty to do, plenty to visit!

Perfect for...

Being a walker myself, I prefer to welcome hikers, pilgrims on the Mont St Michel route, nature lovers but I remain open to all requests

Hello, I am a big fan of walking and exploring trails with my backpack.
Nature is essential to my balance
I live in the historic center of a small medieval town in the south of Eure, rich in history and heritage!
You can pitch your tent in a corner of my garden. It is a quiet place that must be respected, no noise in the evening after 10 p.m.
I do not accept animals as I myself have a 14 year old kitten who is not very sociable with her peers.
Lots to see and do in the surrounding area and all shops nearby.

Tips

  • There is the GR22 in the Paris-Mont Saint Michel axis, the GR35 which starts from Verneuil-sur-Avre to Maine-et-Loire, Pr, numerous hiking loops and a greenway!

  • The Normandy coast and its beaches, Rouen, Chartres, Paris, Dreux, Evreux, the magnificent Perche region, Norman Switzerland are between 1/2 hour and less than 2 hours away, plenty to do and visit in the region

  • There are all the shops nearby, I live in the historic center, the market takes place on Saturday mornings

  • Many breweries in the area, a wine merchant, a wine bar, various bars

  • No less than 17 restaurants or places to eat in Verneuil-sur-Avre, that's enough to give you the choice...!
