About this location

Hello ! We would like to invite you to pitch your tent in our quiet, walled garden. We live in the house with our two children (4 and 6 years old) who will be delighted to play with yours, if you have any, but don't worry they'll know how to leave the campers alone too!

We'll be happy to help if you have any questions about the area. The idea is to make everyone feel welcome, while respecting everyone's need for privacy.
The garden is enclosed by a wall and can be accessed via a separate entrance: the house is an old farmhouse and the garden is behind it. It is therefore not on the roadside and is quiet. There's a chicken coop at the bottom of the garden, where you can enjoy fresh eggs if you like!
Dogs are welcome, provided they can tolerate the presence of ours.
The activities
The house is ideally located between the seafront and the pretty little town of Coutances. The beach is 4 kilometers away.

Shops in the village include a hairdresser, bakery, butcher/grocery, and a restaurant with a breathtaking view over the bay of La Sienne. A children's park and soccer field are a 5-minute walk away.

The garden is large, but for maximum comfort we don't accept more than two or three tents. The site is flat and cosy. Depending on the season and the weather, you can pitch your tent in the shade to wake up cool and calm.
The sanitary facilities
A hot-water shower and WC are available in the house. Depending on the season, the weather and your wishes, a solar shower is available in the garden.
The amenities
You'll have access to the "salle des fêtes" (party room): this is actually the old wine press that we've set up temporarily to welcome guests. In this room, you'll have access to: a fridge, a gas camp-site, crockery, a senseo coffee machine, electricity (we can supply extension cords if required). Tables and chairs will enable you to eat comfortably indoors or outdoors. Games are also available: table soccer, molky, card games... This room is shared with other campers.

We are a little bit equipped and have several tents, mattresses, comforters... don't hesitate to ask us. We'll work out the details to suit your needs.

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

There are no special rules, apart from the obvious inevitable ones: we ask campers to respect the site (leave it clean), to respect the animals and vegetation (don't help yourself to the vegetable garden without asking, and respect the garden and the chickens), to respect others (campers or not, by not making any noise after 10.00 pm in the garden, to behave and speak respectfully to everyone...). ). Children are welcome (don't hesitate to ask us if you need materials).
