About this campspace
We welcome you to the edge of Bois Barbet, in a quiet area, at the back of a family house located in Normandy.
Come and stay under your canvas (or in a 2-person tent or a 3-person tent loaned by us) or in your camper van to perhaps hear the foghorns of the boats on the Seine in the morning...
Our camping is ideal for young or old, students training in Rouen, or MIN, or if you are invited to a wedding in the area...
It is also perfect accommodation for concertgoers at 106, the Zénith de Rouen or the Opéra du Théâtre des arts de Rouen!
We are located 5 minutes from Dock76 (5 minutes by car), and 15 minutes by transport from the KINDARENA stop leading to the Seine quays for the Armada.
The exact address is given during exchanges, we are located 4 minutes from Avenue Bicheray.
The house on the edge of the forest is located at the top of this activity zone.
For campers, you will sleep under the stars on our forest plot of 800m2 on 1500m2 of total surface area.
A shaded corner facing north where little squirrels, titmice and sometimes a cat or two from the Housing Estate wander around.
The enclosed grounds are surrounded by bamboo, oaks, hornbeams, beech, pine, hazel, maple, cherry, pink and blue hydrangeas, rose bushes... in total tranquility.
We are 5 minutes by car from the quays of Rouen for the restaurants, the 106 concerts, the La Bodéga barge, the Docks76 shopping center etc...
Activities
At the gates of the historic center of Rouen, you will have the pleasure of discovering the city of a hundred bell towers, the Rue du Gros Horloge, the shopping arcades, the numerous bars, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs, the pedestrian alleys...
Also just a stone's throw away, take advantage of the Docks76 (shopping center, Gaumont cinema, etc.), the Aqualoup community swimming pool open Sunday morning-afternoon, the François Mitterrand cultural center (media library), a karting, a equestrian..
All of Rouen is accessible by bus, the Jean Jaurès stop (Teor T3 direction Monet) is located 5 minutes' walk away. Public transport is 100% free ON SATURDAYS throughout the Rouen metropolitan area!!
For your walks, "seaside" activities, cultural leisure or visits, you also have the Normandy coast (Honfleur with the port or the Butterfly greenhouse, Harfleur, Deauville, Trouville, the Barrière casinos...), the Bocasse park, the Biotropica zoological park, the Poses leisure center with water skiing, golf, pedal boats etc., the Bédanne beach (free parking), the Jumièges leisure center for swimming or fishing or the Clères park to get closer pink flamingos, kangaroos, lemurs...
Vic will be happy to put together a little Normandy program for you and Mathieu will prepare all your itineraries for you, if you want to discover the region!
Other remarks
For motorhomes equipped with shower and fridge,
we ask for a supplement if they wish to use our bathroom or plug in their fridge because we already provide ours, empty, independent and accessible 24 hours a day.
(1 euro for a shower per person and 2.50 euros for connecting your fridge for one day, 5 euros if you stay two nights, 7 euros if you stay 3 nights)

Mixed couple with Mr. Breton from Pontivy and Mrs. Normande of Malagasy origin, we have 4 children,
we love human contact as much as with nature, chatting, partying, eating well..

Owners of a plot of forest out of sight and a stone's throw from all amenities (Rouen city center, transport access 5 minutes away, supermarkets, post office, banks, etc.) and the Normandy coast with Deauville, Trouville or even closer Jumièges, Biotropica, Bocasse... we are keen to be able to guide our campers who would like to discover the area! Moreover, we are a few meters on foot from the monumental forest installed in Canteleu for two years. A delight in the great outdoors.
With us, it's friendly and we want you to be comfortable!
We therefore offer a space to pitch your tents with garden furniture installed by us but we can also lend you a tent for 2 - 3 or 4 people upon reservation.
A hearty breakfast can be offered upon reservation while waiting for fresh eggs from our next hens!

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
The glamping site is located in a cul-de-sac subdivision with little traffic, offering absolute peace and quiet.
Access is possible from 9am to 7pm, so you can make the most of the day to set up your equipment.
Departure before 10am for camper vans.
We have space for 6 cars and as many places to park bicycles under cover.
An access beeper can be given to you if we don't need it, under deposit, so that you can access your accommodation independently.
We are not smokers, but we respectfully allow you to put your ashes and cigarette butts in the ashtrays provided (please ask for the ashtrays).
Waste must be sorted or recycled (compost, plastic packaging, glass and household waste).
Compost is used to feed our small vegetable garden at the front of the house!
Pets are unfortunately not allowed, and noise pollution is to be avoided after 10 p.m. for the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
Finally, we communicate only by TEXTO or whatsapp in text or voice messages. We rarely pick up the phone because of poor reception, or because our three children are our priority, or because if baby is at mom's breast, it's easier for him to read and answer by text.
