About this location

The peace and serenity of the countryside, just a 5-minute bike ride from the beach!
Vast green space, at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by woods (oaks, willows, poplars, elms) in an undeveloped natural zone on 3 sides. Particularly quiet in terms of human activity. Birds frequently sing in the early morning. I spotted 27 species on the site :-)
The activities
On site, you can enjoy birdwatching and the peace and quiet of nature, or play pétanque on a specially laid-out pitch. Children can enjoy the trampoline under their parents' supervision, or use the swing. A 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride will take you to one of Pornichet's most beautiful beaches: the wildest and most family-friendly, with dunes and no cars. Beautiful "Vélocéan" trails take you to Saint-Nazaire, Guérande or La Baule, through woods and countryside. The town has just opened a small, dynamic and eclectic cinema, just a 5-minute bike ride away. A visit to the fortified town of Guérande and its salt marshes is a must. The wild coastline from Le Pouliguen to Le Croisic is splendid, as is the large naturist beach at Pen Bron in La Turballe. All amenities are within 500 meters: bakery, supermarket and biocoop.

Tent rental is free: 2 to 3 igloo tents for 2 people each, and 1 family tent with a large bedroom and an extension for 3 to 4 people. Mattresses are not provided. The spirit of the place is calm and respect for the peace and quiet of other campers. It's not a place for partying, and music is played through headphones. On the other hand, friendly, peaceful evenings around the campfire are possible, with a few notes of guitar if all occupants are up for it. I'll see how many campers I can accept, while guaranteeing a peaceful stay for everyone, which is my top priority. Access is possible at any time, as long as it's quiet. Wise dogs are not forbidden a priori, but it is preferable that there be only one dog on the site at a time. I may therefore have to refuse certain requests. Of course, dogs must be kept on a leash and their faeces picked up. Smoking is not forbidden outside either, as long as you don't throw cigarette butts. I can't promise to provide breakfast, but the bakery is close by and I'll be happy to offer you a cup of coffee if I'm present.
