About this location

We are a calm & tranquil campsite just outside Domfront by the velo scenic route. It is just a short drive or cycle to the town but it seems like you are in the middle of the countryside.
I may be biased but I think there is a special atmosphere, a wonderful feeling of calm & peace on our site. It is full of nature with kingfishers, cuckoos, deer, wild boar & even once a wolf just passing through. The night sky is incredibly clear with no light pollution. We have two lakes to sit by and also to enjoy the sound of our waterfall.
The activities
Only 4kms from the hustle & bustle of Domfront it's castle, bars, restaurants, shops & events, friday being market day.. Nearby is forest for hiking & cycling & we are on the Velo Scenic route to Mont St Michel. Bagnoles de L'orne is only 12km away with its lake, casino, shops, bars & bike rail. Torchamp is close to a kayaking center. There are many cycling/hiking paths on the Voie Verte. Great markets at Flers, Ferte Mace, Vire & St Hilaire de Harcourt
Other things
It is possible to fish in our lakes with carp up to 55lb. We have a small selection of fishing equipment for hire & if you would like to fish the proper equipment must be used as the fish are precious

You have your own solar shower & dry toilet & wash basin. You also are welcome to venture down into our site to use our shower block.

To fully immerse yourself in nature there is no internet in the cabin but it can be accessed on the site if required. The barrel is lit by 12v solar lights & if you need to charge your phone there are points down in the campsite.
There is a kitchenette with gas hob, washing sink, pans, utensils, plates, cutlery etc & a bbq & fire pit.
