Campfires, ground barbecues, flames of any kind, etc. are prohibited, especially during drought and given the proximity of neighboring homes. However, in the forest a few steps from the house, there is a picnic area with the possibility of making a fire for a barbecue. There are no toilets, but the forest is nearby for your natural needs :-)

Do not leave trash, cigarette butts, dog droppings, etc. in the meadow. No parties allowed. Keep children, animals, etc., quiet for the neighbors. No noise after 10 p.m. for the neighbors and until 7 a.m. There are no toilets, but the forest is nearby for your natural needs :-)

We love welcoming guests to our guest house but there are not always free rooms or the budget is not always suitable. With the GR passing nearby, we have often adapted to welcome hikers who pass through Carlsbourg with great pleasure, in the meadow when there was no more room in the guest house

  • There are some wonderful hiking trails just a short walk away in the forest.

  • You can take the bus (5 min) or the train (20 min walk) to reach a place of interest or a city

  • A grocery store and a butcher's shop are located nearby in the village centre.

  • A wood-fired pizzeria in the village allows you to pick up your pizzas
