Looking for a change of scenery, a peaceful haven surrounded by nature? Seeking simple, quality moments? I'm here to offer you just that. I have two adorable children, aged 4 and 8, a rather friendly cat, and a lovely property to share! In my younger years, I traveled extensively in Australia and New Zealand. Camping days are long gone, but the spirit of hospitality and the memory of a warm welcome and a pleasant, safe, and peaceful place have stayed with me. I hope to share that with you in a simple way, using what I have on hand. ;-) Hidden behind one of the oldest stone houses in the village is an unexpected secret garden. At the far end of the garden, nature gradually reverts to its wild state, leading you to a breathtaking view of the valley. From here, you'll see the villages of Dorinne, Spontin, and Purnode in the distance... You'll glimpse pastures and forests, and with a bit of luck, you might spot a kite gliding peacefully and be amused by the swallows dancing around the old cherry tree. The region is simply perfect for immersing yourself in nature (hiking, climbing, kayaking...) and simple pleasures: magnificent hikes and typical restaurants nearby (Crupet is a 5-minute drive, 30 minutes on foot...). Looking for culture? The Old Farm Museum in Godinne, the Dinant Cultural Center, and the numerous museums of Namur are just a 20-minute drive away... Hiking trails directly accessible from the house will allow you to reach Crupet, Evrehailles, Chansin... via pastures and forests: magnificent in every season! Children welcome! We provide some outdoor games to keep the children occupied while the parents enjoy drinks or simply relax!
Ideal for sports enthusiasts (cycling, climbing, hiking, etc.) or simply for nature lovers. With friends, family, or as a couple, or alone for a moment of disconnection or retreat.

Good morning! I like to work in the garden, with my hands in the earth and in the branches, then sip a good wine. I traveled around Australia and New Zealand for a year during my crazy youthful years, and although I am now surrounded by kids, cats and a vegetable garden, it does not mean that I have lost my taste for encounters and the desire to welcome travelers (in search of calm or wanting to remake the world under the stars after a proper barbecue! - ardent Liege roots ;-))... and to welcome them as I I was welcomed on the other side of the world! Maybe a way to close the loop? ;-)

Tasty and typical restaurants in Crupet (5 minutes away), a chip shop at the Durnal campsite, Assesse, Spontin, Yvoir... other great gourmet addresses... just ask me!
