Come and enjoy the vast regional forests in the Antwerp Kempen. From your camping pitch you have an ideal base for many wonderful hiking or cycling trips. The camping spot is located along the forest where you can leave a few meters away for a walk along walking routes that have been selected for walk of the year 2021, being the bridge walk of 10 km and the grave raven path of 3 km. If you prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet, you will probably find a nice spot close to or at your camping spot itself. Your camping pitch is located in the ecological garden of a Talander vzw country house. Talander vzw is an initiative for people with a disability. In this country house, a companion lives with two people in co-housing, they are happy to be your hosts.

At the camping spot you can find peace and sniff the wonderful forest scent.

With an incredibly rainy evening, Sven took us in and quickly showed us around. Even though it was dark by the time we got to the camp space, the property was cozily lit up. We met the lovely people of the home group, and went to sleep. The property was nice and quiet except for the sound of the nightlife in the forest adjacent to the tent. Owls and other animals were heard through the night which gave it a very natural feel. When we woke up, we were greeted by a lovely breakfast that was prepared by Erwin and Toon. Everything was homemade or locally sourced. Everything felt so relaxed at this place. Really a highlight of our trip. Thank you to Sven, Erwin, and Toon!

It was great. Sven compromised his tent for us so we did not have to set up our own in the rain. He reacted fast to our enquiries and was incredibly nice.
