Welcome to the Menzelhof!

We offer child-friendly nature camping on the farm for motorhomes, caravans or even tents and vans. Who we are? We are two adults, two children and two dachshunds. Make yourself comfortable on our asphalted yard or orchard. There is enough space to maneuver. If necessary, we also offer you the use of electricity. Four-legged friends are welcome guests here.

Camping in the Teutoburg Forest - this is what you can experience with us:

Whether you're traveling through or just want to get out for a weekend and enjoy the sights of the Osnabrück region - with us you have an optimal starting point. You can quickly get to Osnabrück or explore the health resorts of Bad Rothenfelde, Bad Laer or Bad Iburg by bike. It is worth it! And if the children still have energy after a long bike ride, they can let off steam in our large garden on the swings, playhouses or the cable car. The Teutoburg Forest is only 200m away.
Please note that toilet use is not possible 24 hours a day, only during the day.

It is a beautiful, quiet place with a view of the beehives, horses and an open field. Even though there is a fast road nearby, the place is quiet and you can hear the sounds of nature. A beautiful place for walking and cycling in the area!

How was the contact with the host?
Anna was very hospitable. We arrived in the evening, so she wasn't home. We were in contact in advance about where we could park the bus and where we could connect to the power.
There were two drinks and a welcome candle on a table under the tablecloth.

We didn't have many questions, but we always received immediate answers. Like the bicycle pump she had placed for us. She also suggested to refill the water before we moved on to the next location.

A very nice spot upon the hill, very friendly neighbours coming by for a chat and bringing by some honey from the beehives next to the camping spot. Good place for walking in the Teutoburger Woods. And be sure to see the "Gradierwerke" in the nearby Bad Rothenfeld.

Anna Lena and her partner were very friendly and helpfull.

They provided us with electricity although we had forgotten to ask about it when making the reservation.

I have stayed two nights at the Campspace Menzelhof, the first night in my camper, however the second night I set up my tent and enjoyed the nature. Anna-Lena has two separate locations within walking distance from each other which is very unique. I would highly recommend visiting this Campspace as it has some great qualities to offer.
