About this location

In the bird park region of Walsrode, we manage 230 fruit trees on 3 hectares of traditional orchard and operate a farm cider press in the apple barn. The special feature is the variety of species. About 80 different old apple varieties as standard trees are bordered by a hedge of native shrubs. The three pitches have different advantages. You can set up your pitch by the insect hotel, the old bee fence, or the barn. Here are some suggestions for activities and relaxation: cycling on the apple route, walks in the forest and countryside, exploring the "Grundlosen See", visiting the World Bird Park, visiting the monastery and local museum in Walsrode.
