About this location

This is a truly unique rustic wild camping area, the garden campsite is a completely private area with panoramic Mountain View’s & the jingle jangle of Asturian mountain cattle cowbells. Perfect for Couples or families with teenagers (Sorry no children under 12).
This is a paradise for Overlanding or just pitching a tent. There won’t be any other campers on the farm, just one pitch just for you! It’s difficult to find this experience anywhere else especially in July & August!

PLEASE NOTE - no commercial filming/drone filming is permitted without prior consent & fee arrangement.
The farm is set in the mountain foothills of the Picos de Europa near Cangas de Onís.
A place of peace, adventure, incredible views, birdwatching, organic vegetable gardens, forests, owls and stars at night, in harmony with Nature.
Reconnect with natural rhythms in your beautiful private camping area in a region packed with things to do!
There are hiking trails very close by around the nearby mountain. Also trails suitable for serious mountain bikers. There is a beautiful swimming spot with lake & waterfall in the river Dobra a short drive from Cangas de Onís. The famous basilica and the breathtaking lakes of Covadonga are a short drive away. We can recommend very experienced mountain guides to take you up into the Picos de Europa. There are fantastic surf schools that we can also recommend in Playa de Vega & Llanes. Some absolutely beautiful beaches are only a 30 minute drive away. Cangas de Onís is a 15 minute drive away and there are excellent restaurants & supermarkets to get supplies. On Sunday there is a market in town where you can sample local foods.
The farm is 20 hectares, consisting of chestnut forests and grazing pastures. The Circle garden campsite has a picnic table, compost toilet & sink with running water (only cold). There is a private clothes line in the campsite if you want to hand wash your clothes in the sink & hang them to dry. There is a private Solar outdoor shower area which can have warm water depending if it’s been sunny! As it is a Solar Shower you have to have a shower in the evening to benefit from the sun warming the water up in the daytime. If you shower in the morning then it will be cold again. This campsite is surrounded by peach & plum trees which you are welcome to pick.
BBQ available. Camp fire not permitted due to risk of wildfires.
Our seasonal vegetables can be purchased. Please ask for more information. 
There is a local bakery service every day to our village apart from Sundays, let us know the day before & we can place your orders for you the following morning & deliver it to you.   SMOKING, E-CIGARETTES or VAPING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE FARM DUE TO RISK OF WILDFIRE & POLLUTION. DRONES NOT ALLOWED. No extra visitors or parties.
No camp fires allowed due to risk of wild fire.
PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS.
Only one vehicle permitted. We have some amazing places in our fields for Overlanding. If you bring a camper-van/4x4  it will go in the field facing the amazing mountain view, there is a flat grass area & there is also shade from a hazel tree. It is close to the campsite.

Hi, I’m Claudia and I live in Asturias with my husband & 3 children. I absolutely love gardening and I’m very interested in permaculture & growing all our food organically using the no-dig method. If not busy outside, I’m busy in the kitchen baking bread or brewing Kombucha. We have some three loveable farm cats called Duco, Lulú & Muffin. Also a Border Collie called Betty who will want to play stick with you! Be warned if you start playing she won’t want to stop!!!

  • Beautiful hiking trails close to property. Great for mountain biking & road cycling. The Vuelta de España is held on our mountain roads close by. Birdwatching paradise

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

We don’t provide use of a fridge or freezer for cool blocks or your food. You must bring your own plug in fridge. We provide electricity for this. Normal cars & 4x4 are fine. No trailers unless with a 4x4. Large vans are not accepted-  Only small camper-van type vehicles (VW caravelle, Mercedes Vito) as our road is narrow & steep in places.   NO SMOKING anywhere on the farm. No loud music or extra visitors. Please use the bin provided & take your own rubbish with you when you leave. We have 3 farm cats that are very friendly and will probably want to say hello to you! Please don’t feed them as they will want to be your forever friend! :-) Please use the compost toilet provided if you are using the campsite.  Silence after 11pm.   Flying drones is strictly forbidden - It’s very unsettling for our animals & also disturbs the peace & tranquility of our home. Fines will be issued by Campspace if this rule is broken.   Commercial photo & filming not permitted without prior consultation & fee arrangement. Please leave everything clean & tidy & as you found it.  Please note: the solar shower will heat up more when the weather is sunny, if cold weather than the shower may not be particularly warm.  Please close gates after you.  Thank you for your understanding. 🙏💚
