About this location

In a small village in the foothills of the Ossau Valley, we welcome you to our family farm.
Forest, lakeside or meadow can accommodate you during your stay depending on the period and the location of the herd. Our main location is under our wood at the edge of our meadows with a view of the Pyrenees.
A place in the heart of nature.
We are on the heights of the village of Lys, facing south, facing the Pyrenees mountain range. You will be welcomed on a farm.
A wooded lake fed by a spring, meadows, forests more or less far from our home and the farm.
Activities
We are farmers, you can discover animals and agricultural activities. We have a lake, forests, natural spaces that invite you to rest, walk and relax. We are located 30 minutes by car from Lourdes and its sanctuary and 30 minutes by car from Pau, the castle of Henri IV. We are at the gateway to the Ossau Valley. Mountain territory, with its many hikes, its agricultural and rural heritage, its multiple sports activities, zip line, canyoning, horseback riding, climbing ... We are 45 minutes by car from the Col du Pourtalet (Spanish border) its shops and the Pic du Midi d'Ossau. 5 minutes away, the Bains de secours, a treatment area, can welcome you in their Roman baths or for a massage. The town of Nay is 15 minutes by car, a magnificent market is open on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. The Asson zoo is 10 minutes from our farm.
The caravan, to benefit from its equipment, fridge, kettle, water and electricity, is installed near the farm. If you want to be in the heart of nature you will have to move to access the caravan, the best location is on the heights of the farm, under an oak wood, 500 m away. Be careful, we are in the countryside, with agricultural activity! If you do not like nature, various insects, walking, and if you are very rigorous about mowing the grass, abstain, this place is not for you.

With Christophe, my partner, we took over my parents' farm. A small cattle farm raised in pasture in a small town in the Ossau Valley, Lys. We grow mushrooms, shiitakes and oyster mushrooms and dye plants. Our farm is located on the heights of the village with a total view of the Pyrenees, a unique panorama, on a unique territory, in a forest setting populated with large oaks. We also have chickens, sheep and dogs. We share the house with my parents, the house has two dwellings. I am also a visual artist, trained at the School of Arts of Pau and Tarbes. My workshop is on the farm with a culture of dye plants that I use in my artistic practice. I offer workshops around the manufacture of vegetable inks.
