Between Saint-Émilion and Bergerac, if you fancy a night under a starry sky free from light pollution, a relaxing nap in a hammock in the shade of our orchard, a breathtaking 360° view of the Bordeaux vineyards, a moment shared around a campfire (when permitted) or on the pétanque court, discovering our renovation work, participating in our small grape harvest in September, picking fruit in the orchard, or simply a base for exploring the region by bike or on foot (just 3 km from the Way of St. James), you've come to the right place... You will be welcomed to our private property located between Bergerac and Saint-Émilion from 4 pm onwards so you can enjoy our extraordinary view. We are not professional winemakers, but you can stroll peacefully through the surrounding vineyards. Whether you're a camper or an adventurer, we understand your needs and will do everything we can to meet your requirements. Our advantages: an extraordinary unobstructed view, a simple but complete bathroom at your disposal (hot shower, sink, toilet), a refrigerator, electrical outlets, and upon request, the possibility of breakfast and laundry service. No noise pollution, 30 minutes from Bergerac and Saint-Émilion, you are here at the crossroads of three departments, allowing you to easily explore and discover the attractions of each: Gironde, Dordogne, and Lot-et-Garonne. 6 km from the Dordogne River and a kayaking stop, 10 km from one of the most beautiful markets in France in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, 3 km from the hiking trails of the Camino de Santiago, and much more. Several pitches are available. An entrance via a drivable track to the right of the main house allows you to set up camp in our orchard or in our large 2-hectare meadow with an unobstructed view of the Bordeaux vineyards. Flat terrain with no major difficulties. The view... relaxation, starry nights in a hammock, hikes in the vineyards from our park, gourmet markets in summer, visits to wine châteaux... a good game of pétanque on our land, a nap in the hammock...., Many nice little places in the region, whether it be village events, the numerous gourmet markets, our favorite little places, our little restaurants, we will advise you on activities to do.

Cécile, a Belgian, owns a former hunting lodge that has been undergoing renovation since 2022 to create a tourist reception area.
A magnificent partially shaded plot of 3 ha offers an orchard, a small vineyard of 2000m2 with in its center a beautiful location to pitch the tent and 2 ha of meadows allowing to enjoy an extraordinary 360 ° panorama on the Bordeaux vineyard. Unable to go on a trip during the renovation, the pleasure will be to welcome you and share a moment with you. An expedition truck is being prepared for a trip around the world.

We welcome you from 4 pm. You will be greeted at the main house where we will explain how to access the orchard. If we are not there, we will send you a message. IMPORTANT: To preserve our privacy, we kindly ask that you do not set up camp AT THE BACK OF OUR HOUSE, but rather in the orchard, in the area between the large cedar trees (bathroom) and the poplar trees. There is shade near the poplar trees. Thank you for your understanding, as our bedrooms and living areas are located at the back of our house. We welcome dogs, who will quickly become friends with Merlin, our golden retriever. Our biological wastewater treatment system with reed beds does not allow us to accept black water from chemical toilets; we will direct you to where to dispose of it in the village.

We have a Holden retriever Merlin, sociable with dogs but not cats
