A unique and exclusive camping spot in nature, situated on the hill of the Lodge op de Berg estate in Bree (Belgian Limburg), surrounded by vast landscapes and nature. You can count on the super hospitable service of Gaëlle and Thierry and the comfort of a luxury outdoor shower and toilet in an enchanting natural setting! In short, quality, experience, and hospitality are guaranteed! At this campsite, you can truly immerse yourself in nature without being bothered by others, as we offer only one spot—so it is entirely for your camping experience alone! This campsite is regularly booked by larger groups (B2B companies, outdoor B2C events, photoshoots, weddings, etc.), but never at the same time as your camping experience. You can see some photos of, among others, an outdoor trekking event with Fjällraven, who set up their tents at our campsite for their annual base camp. The campsite features a large wooden deck with a picnic table, along with a unique panoramic view of the pond and the hilly meadows. You can easily spot roe deer or tawny owls there. A compost toilet is provided 20 meters away, and a particularly beautiful outdoor shower with hot running water is located in the oak forest, a 300-meter walk straight through the estate, exclusively for your use! Your mobile phone or your own fridge can be charged in the barn (250 meters away).

THE LOCATION Welcome to Gaëlle and Thierry, the owners of Lodge op de Berg, where hospitality has been a top priority since 2014. Gaëlle shines as the versatile facilitator and linchpin of our holiday accommodation, Lodge op de Berg, in Bree, Belgian Limburg, while Thierry operates as a landscape architect and driving force behind the project, with a constant focus on detail and a long-term vision. Our passion for creating unique accommodations in nature forms the core of our project. For us, it is not simply about renting out a place to stay overnight, such as this campsite or our lodges; we offer our guests a chance to experience the beauty of nature while actively contributing to its preservation and development. Our project is thriving, as year after year we continue to build upon our piece of landscape spanning over 3 hectares and experiment with unique outdoor experiences, such as spending a summer night under the stars in a bed. No idea is too crazy! Our mission is to build a bridge between people and nature, with tourism acting as a driving force for both nature conservation and development. We are committed to finding a harmony between the needs of nature at our location and the wishes of our travelers. We offer our guests an intimate, ecologically responsible experience that stimulates the senses and leaves behind a special 'holiday feeling'. THE SURROUNDINGS The estate is situated near cycling and walking routes. Bicycles can be rented from e-bike 2 rent. Beautiful short- and long-distance walks, straight through nature, also start from the estate. Gaëlle and Thierry have mapped out several walking routes for their guests on an app. Supermarkets and the charming center of Bree, with its restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, are located just 1.5 km away.
Water fun with our lovely dogs in the pond! They are always there and love to play with children!
Spot the game from the deck early in the morning or late at night. Already spotted: tawny owls, roe deer, heron.
