About this location

Come and enjoy some tender grass to pitch your tent!
The chalet's terrace also welcomes you to sunbathe and relax. My little piece of countryside is a three-minute drive from the Great Lakes, where you can enjoy water sports and a rich natural environment. The area is green and rural. There are beautiful woods where you can walk and recharge your batteries. My garden is ideal for a night's stay or longer "wild" camping trips. It's a return to basics; there are no amenities such as toilets or showers. Everything is done in the nature of the garden! If you want to be spoiled, then I will prepare a healthy, gourmet, and delicious breakfast for you.

    An outdoor faucet allows you to use drinking water to fill your water bottles, cans and containers.

    A stone barbecue is available. However, you must use your own wood or charcoal. The storage under the barbecue is personal. Please do not touch it.

    On the covered terrace, you can sit at the wooden table. This table should not be moved. A small round table and seating are also available in the garden.

    To the left of the chalet you will find a bin with a green lid. Place your plastic waste in the blue bag and residual waste (non-recyclable) in the white bag. Close the bags tightly.

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Tips

  • In 30 minutes on foot you can reach the lakes surrounded by woods and pretty hiking trails.

  • The Virelles Aquascope is a perfect place to observe nature and make wonderful discoveries!

  • LA BOTTE PAYSANNE (Tue-Fri-Sat) is a great cooperative where you'll find fresh fruits, vegetables, and produce. Every Friday morning, you can also enjoy the Chimay market.

  • THE QUEEN MARY is a pleasant bar located in Chimay where the owner can give you lots of information about the beers he serves!

  • I highly recommend LA FERME DES 4 SAISONS - an excellent and innovative restaurant! POUL & BOUL is a delicious brasserie. And LA MALTERIE is a sure bet!

    Enjoy the Aqua-Centre for swimming or relaxing. It's a water recreation area just 3 minutes from the Parc des Expositions (by car)! The Chimay swimming pool and the lakes are also available!
