About this location

Hello, Come and enjoy a short break in our 6-hectare (60,000 m²) forest. Located in Morbihan, between Vannes and Auray, our forest offers a peaceful retreat in nature. The paths and stream will be exclusively yours. The beaches are about 15 minutes away. Our forest is very easy to access as it is right next to the RN165 highway. Simply take the highway exit and you'll be at our place in just a few minutes. You'll only have two neighbors in the hamlet, and they won't be us. We live 1.5 km away in the village. Activities: You can explore the forest paths and perhaps even go mountain biking. We are very close to the Gulf of Morbihan, so there are many places for walking and/or swimming. Other notes: It's not uncommon to see deer. Dragonflies gather in squadrons near the fountain and fly upstream. The birdsong will enchant you. The forest is located in an ecological corridor and is home to a number of animal and plant species, which we have listed in the PNR's (Regional Natural Park) directory. There is an industrial park nearby, which can generate noise, particularly from trucks. Access to the highway is convenient, but it also has the drawbacks of its advantages: background noise depending on the wind and traffic.

Sustainability

We bought 6 hectares of forest just to preserve it. Trees are planted and mowing is late and cut high. Slopes are created to shelter small mammals. The cladding of the tiny house is protected by a so-called Swedish stain, homemade by our artist friend.
