About this location

This site has been closed indefinitely by the landlord due to damage. _____________________________ Enjoy peace, space, and nature at our campsite! Immerse yourself in the tranquility of a green oasis, surrounded by fields and forests. Here you escape the hustle, light, and noise of the city. On our estate, you will find space to completely unwind. There is a site (3000 m²) specially maintained for you to enjoy a panoramic view. In illuminated Flanders, it is also a relatively dark spot; stargazing is a possibility here (a guided stargazing session can be booked). Our campsite is loved by nature. In addition, agricultural practices naturally remain important; fruit is grown here and the meadows are grazed by cows. Why you should camp here: - Peace and privacy: you camp with little to no view of buildings (only our buildings and greenhouse). You are also the only camper: we only allow one camper (or group of campers). - Close to amenities: just 500 meters away you will find a bakery (closed on Mondays), a butcher shop, my favorite local pub (closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), a chip shop (closed Monday to Wednesday), and a handy convenience store. There are several supermarkets in Wetteren (4 km) (Colruyt, Carrefour, Delhaize, Action...). - Easily accessible: the Serskamp, Schellebelle, and Wetteren train stations are nearby. There is also a bus stop in the village. Practical information: - Interested in booking? Just let me know! - Parking: during the wetter months, it is better to park on the road, but that doesn't make your stay any less adventurous! - Waste: you can leave your waste here for free provided you sort it. We sort into the following categories: glass in bins, PMD (plastic packaging, tubs, plastic bottles, cans, beverage cartons, Pringles cardboard) (blue garbage bag), GFT (vegetable, fruit, and garden waste) in a bucket, and residual waste (yellow garbage bag). Pack your tent and discover the peace, nature, and coziness waiting for you here. I look forward to welcoming you! Please adhere to the following rules: -No loud noise between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM: singing around a fire is fine, but please no music that is too loud. -Do not place a fire bowl or fire basket on concrete; placing it elsewhere is fine. -When the meadows are being grazed, please leave the livestock alone (the meadows are grazed from spring into autumn). -I love your dog, but not its poop ;) -Please keep your dog on a leash for the sake of the animals in the area (livestock, wildlife...). -The immediate vicinity of the house is permanently monitored by registered cameras. Don't worry, your privacy as a camping guest is guaranteed! -Trash cans are available in the shed (glass, general waste, PMD); it is highly appreciated if you sort your waste (see general info). -We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur. There is plenty of grassland where you can set up camp alongside trees or in the middle. The ground is a bit rough in places but generally level enough. In any case, there is plenty of space. The main difference lies between summer and winter. In winter, the meadow is too soggy. You can, however, use the paved roads and concrete to set up camp. The advantage then is that you are close to our facilities and get to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of our own garden!
