Welcome! We offer a welcoming retreat for travelers and nomads of all kinds who wish to connect with nature, recharge, and experience sharing, nurturing, and joyful simplicity. We are the stewards of a 4.5-hectare plot nestled in the Serra de Gardunha mountains at the foot of Portugal's highest mountain range (Serra da Estrela), between a stream and a valley, with the aim of building a resilient, eco-friendly, and regenerative oasis. We provide access to water and electricity, which are entirely off-grid, and ask for a conscious contribution. Dry toilets and a solar shower are also available. The land offers direct access to the stream that runs alongside the property (with a small beach area) and includes about fifty olive trees, fruit trees, and native varieties already present on the land. We have planted about fifty fruit trees and created a vegetable garden that grows year after year. A play area will delight your children with a zip line, trampolines, and more. Nearby, you will find: - Hiking trails - River beaches (Souto de Casa - 5km, Castelo Novo - 25km, Paul - 22km...) - The town of Fundão (11km) with its weekly market (the "large" one on Mondays and the "small" one on Saturday mornings), a lovely park, restaurant, library, and all amenities (gas station, supermarkets, etc.) PLEASE NOTE: - Access is not possible for large vehicles (over 8 meters) - It is necessary to contact us by phone before your arrival.
