About this location

Our campsite is ideal for traveling through the Thuringian Forest or for a city break to the romantic half-timbered town of Schmalkalden. The campsite is situated in a green area and directly on the main road leading to Schmalkalden. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. A petrol station directly opposite offers the usual range of products and ensures you can also pick up your Sunday morning bread rolls.

Conveniently located directly on the main road to Schmalkalden. The center of the half-timbered town of Schmalkalden is only a 5-minute drive away. Sights in Schmalkalden include the historic town center, Wilhelmsburg Castle, Viba Nougat World, Luther House, and much more. A petrol station with a small shop selling essential groceries is located directly opposite the site. The bus stop in Mittelstille is a 2-minute walk away.
