About this location

Between the Rhine and wine, on the edge of South Palatinate, lies our small, family-run operation. In Mechtersheim, part of the municipality of Römerberg, we have been cultivating wine for two generations. Since 2010, we focus exclusively on sustainable viticulture and quality wines. We aim to capture the Palatinate lifestyle in every bottle.

You are welcome to spend a wonderful time on our farm directly among the vineyards. We have toilets in immediate proximity, and electricity is available upon request. You are also welcome to bring your pets, but please note that our farm and vineyard are popular walking areas for visitors with their dogs.

With the Rhine right at our doorstep and Speyer just 10 minutes away by car, we are the perfect starting point for all kinds of leisure activities. Enjoy a spontaneous wine tasting, a leisurely walk, or culinary delights in the immediate vicinity. We are happy to provide you with suitable tips.

In addition to the opportunity to taste or purchase wine during opening hours, our two regional vending machines are available around the clock, stocked with eggs, sausage, milk, potatoes, wine, Secco, water, and grape juice. Alternatively, you can use the regional shopping options such as the local butcher or various farm shops. Various supermarkets are also within a few minutes' drive from us.

In September, we host our annual autumn festival. You are welcome to book a pitch with us during this time and participate in our celebration.
