Welcome to our campsite!
My former mill is located in an idyllic secluded setting in the recognized health resort of Drolshagen.
Cabin and infrared sauna:
A cosy furnished cabin (communal area) with crockery, wood stove and terrace can also be used freely. Small electric grill, table grill and fire bowl are available. Fire bowl is only possible at the cabin except during dry periods. The cabin also contains a small emergency kit.
Sauna
Our infrared sauna with cellar ambience provides pleasant warmth and helps relieve tension, muscle and joint pain that may have developed during hiking or cycling. Blood circulation and metabolism are also promoted.
Drolshagen and surroundings:
The Drolshagen region is part of the Sauerland Rothaargebirge nature park, a quiet and forested low mountain landscape. Numerous trails lead along babbling streams through lovely meadows up to beautiful heights. A breathtaking view over wide valleys and mountains. Fresh air, bird song in summer or the silence of the winter landscape engage the senses and make the Drolshagen region unforgettable.
For hikers and cyclists, the Drolshagen region has much to offer. Approximately 140 km of well-signposted and marked hiking trails open up a varied area.
Lake Biggesee with its numerous possibilities is about 4.5 km away from us. From our village, a cycle path leads directly there via partly old railway lines.
To reach the hiking trails, you must return to the village via the country road, about 500 m.
