About this location

Our campsite is located near the beautiful National Park of Lauwersmeer and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea in the Netherlands' most beautiful province (yes, really). Right in the heart of the countryside, vast skies everywhere, a relaxed atmosphere and there are always nice people around. There are 25 spacious areas for tents, caravans, camper vans, buses, trailers and such.

This is a well-known natural campsite and is located on an old Frisian mound with wild grass and wild flowers. You can set up your tent or camping equipment in the areas where the grass has been cut a bit lower. All the wild grass and the space around you is there to enjoy.

You can enjoy the day in front of a warm fire in the covered fireplace with seating cushions. Toasting marshmallows, musing over your drink or enjoying a good conversation.

Life is about dreams and making them come true. I have already realized a number of big dreams (for example by moving to Friesland and developing a special place to stay in pure Friesland) and want to give other people the chance to work on their dreams too. On our site we offer a number of people a free dream spot every year. The only thing they have to do is seriously work on their dream. The surroundings are perfect for this: the breathtaking cloud skies make you quiet and at the same time give you the space to focus on things you don't get to in the daily rush. We love to welcome people here and give them all the peace and space and see how they relax. One person likes to be on their own, another enjoys learning all sorts of things from us: anything goes. It's your vacation and you do what you feel like. We enjoy cheering from the sidelines.
