About this campspace #s003514

Our campsite is located near the beautiful National Park of Lauwersmeer and World Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea in the Netherlands’ most beautiful province (yes, really). Right in the heart of the countryside, vast skies everywhere, a relaxed atmosphere and there are always nice people around. There are 25 spacious areas for tents, caravans, camper vans, buses, trailers and such.

It Dreamlân is a well-known natural campsite and is located on an old Frisian mound with wild grass and wild flowers. You can set up your tent or camping equipment in the areas where the grass has been cut a bit lower. All the wild grass and the space around you is there to enjoy.

You can enjoy the day in front of a warm fire in the covered fireplace with seating cushions. Toasting marshmallows, musing over your drink or enjoying a good conversation.

Because of corona, our sanitary unit is closed until the 1ste of July. For that reason you you can only camp with us with a camper or caravan with your own toilet inside.

Meet Minke, your host

Here, life is all about dreaming and realizing it. I have already realized a number of big dreams myself (for example by living in Friesland and spending the night developing in pure Friesland) and I want to give other people the opportunity to work on their dream. Every year we offer a number of people a free dream place on our site. All they have to do is get started with their dream seriously. The environment is ideal for this: the breathtaking cloudy skies make you quiet and at the same time give you the space to focus on things that you cannot get around to in the everyday hustle and bustle. We think it is great to receive people here and give them peace and space and to see how they relax. One is on his own, the other likes to know about us: anything is possible. It's your vacation and you do what you feel like doing. We enjoy the sidelines.

Norah recommends this campspace

It Dreamlân is a small campsite made by people with their own dream. There are some places for campers or tents, two eco tiny houses, and some farmer-style accommodation. Very small and lovely. There is a nice playground for children, you can make a campfire, canoe, and rent bicycles for a good price. The owners are always available and very friendly. Normally there are good sanitary facilities, they are of course closed now because of the Corona measures. Highly recommended for couples or families (also with pets) if you want a little escape to the country side of the Netherlands. Oohja and if you love sheep that bleat all day on the field next to you?

Our natural camping site is open. Until July 1, we will make a limited number of camping spots available and our sanitary building is unfortunately closed. For that reason, until then you can only come camp with a camper or caravan with your own 'indoor' sanitary facilities. You can also tap water and empty your own plumbing (only with biodegradable flushing agent!). And of course, the health advice of the RIVM applies on our site, such as: do not come with health complaints, keep a distance of 1.5 meters and wash your hands regularly.

We are a nature camping site with respect for nature, peace, and space. For this reason, there are no cars allowed on the campsite, they can be parked in the parking lot. The car is allowed to enter the site for unpacking between 8 am and 10 pm.
