About this location

With an unobstructed view of a nature reserve on one side and the setting sun over the fields on the other side, you are in a worldly place here. Keetje is cozy and has everything compactly in the house. A nice fixed bed and with a 123 instruction you can create a second sleeping place next to it. Two benches with a table, a wood stove and kitchenette is the description in a nutshell. Everything is there to prepare a tasty meal. Next to the gas burner there is a small refrigerator and cold water jerry can.
In addition to an outdoor seating area and your own campfire area, there is also a hammock for you to chill in. Keetje is located on an elongated nature camping site, in the rear area with a few other Tiny Houses, each with its own unobstructed view. There is a lovely little eatery at the front of the site, which is the icing on the cake for many guests.
Opposite the site you will discover an extensive nature reserve, with alternating heathland, sand drifts, old imaginatively shaped trees and fairytale juniper thickets.
All in all, a cute, cozy Keetje with plenty of space, beneficial nature and a culinary surprise.

Tips

  • A walk on the Mantingerzand should not be missed. The 3 National Parks are certainly worth exploring. Ydilian forest lakes, perfect for a swim or picnic.

  • For a great climbing adventure, check out Joytime Grolloo. Meet beavers during a canoe trip, including at Breeland recreation and 25GradenNoord.

  • A trip through the Gees forestry with a visit to the free-range pigs and a little further on to the ice cream parlour. Get a double-yolk egg at the stall a little further away and visit one of the farm shops.

  • Of course you would like to taste the delicacies of the Voscheheugte eatery on site. For a delicious pancake, we refer you to the old Saxon farm 't Hoes van Ol An in Aalden.

  • Eat at a museum farm called De Ar in Westerbork or ask for a personal, special organic address (specially for guests only).
