About this campspace

In our shelter you get comfort, the possibility of a clear starry sky and good food. The shelter is a fantastic base for exploring Møn's beautiful nature for both families and friends.

Comfort - We have provided a couple of good air mattresses for the shelter, so you don't need to bring your own sleeping pad/mattress. You therefore only have to ensure that you take the sheet with you as well as a sleeping bag and/or duvets. Firewood can be purchased additionally. As extra comfort, there is access to an outdoor shower with hot water.

Starry sky - We are certified by Dark Sky Møn, which fights to keep light pollution down. This means for you that you have a very good chance of seeing a multitude of stars in the night sky when you spend the night in our shelter.

Good food - The shelter is located on the edge of our organic farm, from where you can order breakfast and dinner. We grow fresh asparagus and organic vegetables. We pick up fruit in the old orchard, which is open to our guests. You can order breakfast for DKK 80/person and dinner from DKK 150/person. We can also easily handle vegetarian food. Food is pre-ordered after booking.


Camønoen, bathing beach and art:
Our shelter is located approximately 200 meters from Camønoen, so it is an obvious break for the night if you are on the route. Furthermore, it is only 6 km. to a fantastic bathing beach if you need a dip.

If you want to combine the experience of nature with art and culture, you can visit Marienborg Gods (10 min. walk) or Kunsthal 44, which is an internationally known gallery (400 m from here).

You also have the mini-golf course right next to the shelter site, so you can find out once and for all who is the mini-golf champion of the family/circle of friends.


Ecological and energy-friendly:
We are a small, organic farm, located in the small village of Askeby on the scenic Møn.

Møn Organic has been operating since 1998 with special organic products. We grow seasonal produce outdoors for wholesale and retail sale, including some of Denmark's best asparagus and rhubarb.

The farm is heated with biofuel and solar heating, and we get our electricity from a wind turbine energy company.

This year's GRAPE HARVEST 2021 takes place on Saturday 2 October 2021 - registration required


When you book the shelter, you have the shelter area to yourself. However, you should be aware that the shelter is located on land where we also run a bed'n'breakfast.

This means that you share the toilet facilities with our bed'n'breakfast guests. As a shelter guest, you have access to the outdoor bath, while the indoor bathing facilities are only reserved for our bed'n'breakfast guests.

As a shelter guest, you are welcome to come to the bed'n'breakfast garden and order a cup of coffee etc., but generally stay at the shelter site.

Extra guests are not allowed and all Corona restrictions MUST be observed.

Beautiful place in a beautiful organic farm! Nice outdoor shower with a view of the sunset over vineyards and access to a toilet in the house. Nice little fire pit with grill for cooking.
Added breakfast which was a wonderful way to start the day!

We booked late in the day and based on that we are glad we came.
Unfortunately, there was no order at the shelter, nor was it celebrated inside it, and there was mold on the air mattresses. Luckily we had mattresses ourselves.

How was the contact with the host?
On the phone it was agreed that we would just find the shelter.
Eva also came even though it was after check in time, which was nice, but her communication and attitude could have been better.

Tips for new guests?
Arrive in better time than we did, and bring some mattresses yourself.

We slept in the shelter out in the garden. Eva's farm is incredibly cozy and rural. The outdoor shower was idyllic to take a rinse in while the sun went down and it was luxurious to sleep on air mattresses and have access to a proper toilet, which by the way was neat and clean. However, we missed a table / bench set so there was a place to sit and eat and cook. We only had the dry grass to sit on and it was not very comfortable after a long day of hiking. In addition, there was no campfire, which we also missed to have a cozy shelter evening. With the two things extra, an overnight stay in Eva's shelter would be much more recommendable. But if you do not need these things, then it is a nice place to be :)
