About this location

Our yurt is located in the middle of nature, on an orange grove and is tastefully decorated. The yurt is spacious (approx. 28m²) and comfortable. There are two luxurious beds, a nice sofa, a dining and work table and a sitting area and there is fast fiber optic internet. The yurt is for two people and has a lot of privacy.
Next to the yurt is a wooden unit with a complete kitchen and bathroom. Outside are several seating areas and sunbeds and a bamboo pergola with a picnic table.
On our land there are many mature trees that provide shade and fruit, and when the time is right, you can pick them yourself.
Nearby, about 10 minutes away, are quiet beaches, a protected nature reserve (Ria Formosa) and green mountains, but also (fishing) villages with local restaurants and shops.
Silvia is a professional masseur and has her massage parlor at our nearby quinta where you can book a wonderful relaxing massage.

We are Silvia and Ronald and have been living in Portugal since February 2021.
We have bought an old farmhouse in Eastern Algarve, in Moncarapacho, and are renovating it. Since April 2022, the original house has been renovated tastefully and in the old style and we live at our Quinta L. Jeiro. The renovation of the other buildings on the quinta will be done soon.
Before we left for Portugal, we lived in Amsterdam for a long time and enjoyed it very much. Silvia is originally from Maastricht and is a masseur. Ronald is from Leiden and is an architect.
We live on the quinta with our lovely dogs Marie, Dido and Corky.
On our land (2.5ha) we have built a spacious and comfortable Yurt in the middle of nature that you can rent.
