About this location

The parking space is directly on our winery which is located on the outskirts of town.
Our beautiful wine village is located almost exactly in the middle of the German Moselle between Trier and Koblenz and is one of the few places on the Moselle that is not separated from the Moselle by a road or railway line. The federal highway runs past the village on the land side, so our place is really right on the Moselle.
Since the other bank is also only a road for the winegrowers, hikers and cyclists can experience a car-free Moselle here. A true idyll on the river below the Marienburg. On both banks of the Moselle, which are connected by a ferry, there are hundreds of quiet corners and places to sit, sunbathe and dream.
Opposite the town, as if glued to the hillside, is one of the longest railway VIADUCTS in Germany. This striking structure is always a popular photo subject, and not just for railway enthusiasts.
