About this location
My house is located along the Danube river in Ráckeve (central of Hungary), 50 km south from the capital city, Budapest. The nearest village is Dömsöd (the center of the village is 1 - 1,5 km from here), although this area - calls Somlyósziget - officially belongs to Ráckeve town (its center is 8 km away). This part is actually the riverbank between Ráckeve and Dömsöd, closer to Dömsöd. This is a lovely place with an almost 1400 square meters plot and a big garden/backyard area. Not a remote area, from spring to autumn there are lot of people here (there are more and more permanent residents here). At summer you can use the private pier by the river as well, which is located approx. 100 meters from the house. I can offer basically max. 3 tent spaces and 1 motorhome/caravan/campervan space, a small fire pit, filling a water bottle with drinkable water, charging opportunity for your devices and hot shower+toilet in the bathroom.

I work remotely as translator/proofreader in the L&D field. I love travelling, discover new places, "being on the road" in every aspects. My main interests are literature, arts, environment protection, sustainability, nature, astrology, gastronomy.
In the last few years I welcomed several slow travellers in my garden, and met interesting and valuable people. So in my inactive travel period I can travel this way with the help ot these kind of opportunities. :-)
Besides at the last 10 years I did several volunteer jobs here and abroad alike. Thanks to this, I have been enriched with many beautiful memories.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
