We had such a relaxing time in the beautiful garden of Yves. He made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. We even got to eat some of the vegetables of the garden, which turned out to be the absolute best dinner.

How was the contact with the host?
Thank you Yves! We had the best time. We hope to see you again in the future!

Yves received us in his beautiful garden with a view of Jura cliffs! He offered us vegetables from his own vegetable garden for dinner, and was always there for us. There is a lot of space, silence and beautiful plants and house cats enrich the garden :) Amenities were all fine. We had a wonderfully peaceful stopover at Yves.

How was the contact with the host?
Despite limited English from both sides, we had very nice welcoming conversations.

Tips for new guests?
Ask Yves where the light switch for the toilet is ;)

The place is magnificent...whether it's the garden where the tent is pitched or the situation...between the cliffs and the Rhône in a small village...I really loved it.

How was the contact with the host?
And besides the place, our host is very pleasant. Present to take care of me and leaving to exchange.

Tips for new guests?
To find the place, use Google map because via Tomtom...he doesn't know this street.
So don't panic Google will take you there without worries.
Another thing...take mosquito repellent...saw the nearby Rhône...

A lovely place to stay! In this beautiful garden you will find peace and quiet, but you can enjoy the necessary luxury, with a 'private' bathroom and a small fridge with freezer. And there is much to experience in the region.

How was the contact with the host?
Very nice. Yves is a helpful host who is always ready for a chat, but also respects your privacy. He offered us fresh tomatoes from the garden and the kids were allowed to use a skittles game.

A wonderful place to relax! In the morning the birds wake you up. We had a place to ourselves with our own sanitary facilities, what a luxury! A nice spot along the River under a beautiful mountain.

How was the contact with the host?
We experienced a warm welcome. Yves is available for questions and respects everyone's privacy. Positive!

Tips for new guests?
Nearby is a beautiful waterfall where it is nice and cool. Want to swim in the lake? In Le-Bourget-du-Lac, a beautiful beach has been constructed with lifeguard supervision. Lake Annecy is also beautiful but much busier and more touristy.

We couldn't recommend Yves and his campspace highly enough.

He was such a lovely host, making us feel so welcome and at home, providing us with firewood to make a fire and great advice on things around the area.

His garden where we camped was so beautiful, plenty of space, sun, trees and flowers. It was right underneath a stunning mountain, and with access to our own clean and comfortable bathroom and toilet.

The perfect place to spend a few days or to rest on your way through!
