The tent is nice and spacious for two. With a double bed with 'normal' mattress, 2 nice seats, table, a kind of kitchenette with its own hotplate, kettle, coffee maker and jerrycan.
Outside there is also seating for 2.
Here too, the bed is made up and towels are provided.

How it began … 2021

What once started as a joking remark, later became concrete during a bottle of wine with pine cones and tea lights on a large sheet of paper, has now actually happened.

After more than a year of planning, searching, driving around the area and viewings, we found our new place. Less than 4 km from National Park De Groote Peel in Ospel, Limburg!

Our dream … after years of camping ourselves … a small campsite with lots of greenery, peace, privacy and a personal touch.

Camping as if you're in an orchard with lots of greenery and privacy around it. Spacious pitches with electricity and spots between the trees for cyclists with tents. A cozy fire pit. Flower garden. Hammocks. A nice indoor space with fireplace, kitchenette and seating for bad weather. Beautiful sanitary facilities. Nice and well-equipped holiday cottages. Breakfast service … later perhaps a food truck … meeting/workshop/training space … we're overflowing with ideas.

It's a lot of organizing and work, but we love shaping it all according to our own vision.

Meanwhile we've planted quite a bit of extra greenery, brightened up the sanitary facilities and indoor space, and renovated 3 holiday cottages.

From the former Waatskamp we've created a personal campsite starting in season 2022.

From April 1st we reopened and have since welcomed many lovely, kind and friendly guests.

Cozy full weekends during festivals, beautiful (musical) summer evenings and even television recordings.

So far we look back on a good 1st season … with wonderful feedback from enthusiastic guests … and we're open again for our 2nd season.
