About this location
A nice and quiet spot in a countryside garden. Downhill from the main house, no sight line to the neighbors, and access to a rare terrace with a great view to the valley. Power, water and Internet available, but your camper needs to be autonomous to cook and wash.
Ideally located halfway between Tallard and Gap, at the very top of a small village, our land is set away from any traffic, light or noise (save the chickens when it's egg time, but you can have some), you'll be able to rest comfortably. The spot is protected by trees or the shape of the ground on three sides.
The activities
A few hundred meters from the spot, several forest paths, some officially marked, are great for hikers and riders. Down the hill, the Tallard airfield offers many sky-related activities. A good horse club is nearby too. The Tallard castle is a nice bit of history, and the city of Gap is 10 minutes away with all its amenities. Further up the valley, a short drive leads to the impressive Serre-Ponçon dam and many lake activities.
On site, depending on the season, we either have a petanque field or a swimming-pool, and there's a trampoline.
Other things
- We have four cuddly cats and a very nice dog.
- The chicken pen is relatively close to the spot, if available we'll give you some day-fresh eggs for the breakfast.
- Besides your own space and table, you're welcome to use the main terrace and enjoy the great view over the area.
- As fans of strategy game, we can lend you some and maybe play with you if possible.
