We would be delighted to welcome you to this 18th-century farmhouse, which we have been restoring for the past ten years. Here you'll find 20 hectares of certified organic land, including a small herd of llamas, goats, pigs, and a beehive producing excellent honey (available for purchase). There is a dog on the property, so please contact me before booking if you have a pet. The farm is surrounded by a network of beautiful hiking trails, leading to abandoned villages, breathtaking viewpoints, and enchanting forests. We are located 2 km from the center of Les Eyzies, in the heart of the Vézère Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ideally located for exploring not only the prehistoric caves and museums of Les Eyzies, but also numerous nearby tourist sites: Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, the castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Milandes, and Commarque, the Gardens of Marqueyssac, Lascaux IV, the fortified house of Reignac, La Roque Saint-Christophe... In addition, you'll find a multitude of outdoor activities just 5 minutes away in Les Eyzies: canoeing/kayaking, horseback riding, access to the greenway, mountain bike/electric bike rentals, hiking, escape games, pétanque, swimming in the Vézère and Beune rivers... To discover local products and culture, there's nothing better than exploring the weekly markets: there's one every day of the week within a 20-minute drive. Whether you are looking for a place to recharge in hermit mode, a cozy nest for a romantic stay, or an ideally located starting point to discover the surroundings, the Grabou farm welcomes you with pleasure.

Bright, secluded cabin with internet access and heating/fan

Relax in this unique and tranquil accommodation surrounded by nature, ideally located near numerous activities and attractions. A 150-meter path leads from the parking area of ​​the 20-hectare organic farm (home to llamas, goats, pigs, and a beehive) to the "Cuban," a secluded cabin nestled on the edge of the property, surrounded by beautiful oak trees. Despite its small size (15m² with a ceiling height of 1.90m), the Cuban cabin is very bright. The lovely 10m² terrace invites you to unwind and soak up the natural surroundings. Connected to hot water (for the outdoor shower only) and electricity, with a composting toilet, fan, and high-speed Wi-Fi, essential comforts are provided. You'll also find two sun loungers outside for your relaxation. The small gas stove and a refrigerator outside the cabin allow you to cook on-site, so you'll never have to go back to town if you wish. Pets are welcome under certain conditions. The cabin is non-smoking. Bed linens are provided; just bring your own towel for the shower. There are mosquito nets on the door and one window. The surrounding area: The farm is surrounded by a network of beautiful hiking trails.   • 'La Maison' in Les Eyzies offers delicious infused rums, and several cafes are open year-round in the village.

  • For a simple lunch (not dinner) in a typical Périgord restaurant I recommend 'La Laugerie Basse', in the cliffs at the exit of Les Eyzies.
