Our Campspace is hosted on our private land, acquired to develop a resort concept in the future. This old chicken farm has been abandoned for many years and offers a creative, mistic, fun and completely private environment with incredible views on Sintra's iconic mountain and Castle 'Dos Mouros'!
Our campspace is located in the region of Sintra, just a few minutes walk from the iconic village of Azenhas do Mar where you'll find basic necessities, like a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes walking and the ocean can be seen from some parts of the space!
Within 45 minutes of the plot, you'll be in Ericeira, Cascais, and Lisbon.
Important: As of today - there is no facilitated sanitation so it's not recommended to stay more than 2 nights! This isn't a campsite - there are absolute zero facilities! Please consider that before requesting a booking. It will be just you and the tent / van.
Vanlifers, nature lovers, explorers, those who enjoy privacy and great views!

The location is amazing, close to the coast and to the picturesque village of "Azenhas do Mar".
The spot has a lot of space, it's green all around, and the view to Sintra is the cherry on top.
How was the contact with the host?
Fast and very efficient.
Tips for new guests?
Explore the surroundings like Serra de Sintra, Cabo da Roca or Azenhas do Mar.

Campsite is not secure and felt unsafe. There were dogs running around. Later we learned from the host that they belong to the neighbour and are not wild, but they treat the campsite as their territory, were not friendly (growling, barking) and had to be chased off. Overall not a nice feeling to stay at the campsite as a couple in a tent.
Tent pitches were overgrown and not easily accessible, had to pitch near the buildings, where the ground is littered.
Ocean is not viewable from most of the space, which was stated in the description.
Would only recommend this campsite if you're with a bigger group (4+) for safety, don't book it as a couple or individual.
How was the contact with the host?
It has to be said, the host warned us that there were no amenities, so kudos for that, he seems like an honest guy. But because he is remote I don't think he quite knows how the place feels when you're camping on your own.

That said, the beaches nearby are beautiful and should not be missed! Of course, Sintra is just a small drive away and is an absolute must-see as well :)
