About this campspace

Idyllic private camping area in the middle of a quiet little village.
If you want to set up your camper or caravan centrally but relaxed, between fir trees and fruit trees, you've come to the right place.
We are a 3-generation household and look forward to our guests.

The two parking spaces are located at the rear of a large property - in the middle of the small village of Dohren. The parking spaces can be reached directly via a quiet side street. The property is completely fenced.

The pitches are surrounded by a small pine forest and some fruit trees.
The ground is a mixture of moss and lawn - very pleasant to walk barefoot.

Well and drinking water are available and included.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer toilets and showers.

Barbecue is possible with us. A grill can be provided.
Electricity is available and is billed on top per day.

Since there are no shops in town, we offer a few basic foods in case of an emergency.

We are at the gates of Hamburg and in the immediate vicinity of the Lüneburg Heath. In every season of the year, nature in the Lüneburg Heath provides a special spectacle. Great sunrises in spring, the cotton grass bloom in May, the heather bloom in summer, the fog over the moors in autumn, or the dark green junipers in the snow heather in winter. The Lüneburg Heath is always worth a trip and the excursion destinations are numerous.

Dohren itself also provides the only Bundesliga baseball team based in a village. The Dohren Wild Farmers play their home games just a 10-minute walk from us. Entry under 10 euros.

Dohren is not far from Hamburg - reachable with "Der Metronom" within 30 minutes. The regional train stops in Tostedt - about 4km from Dohren.

In Tostedt there are also all the necessary shops as well as a bakery, post office, ice cream parlor, drugstore, butcher, etc.
There is a small market on Tuesday and Friday.

Spending a night at Ralf's Campspace is just the thing you need if you wish to have a great time of rest and peace. The Campspace is very private and it has some beautiful trees which almost make you feel like you are in the middle of a large forest.

How was the contact with the host?
Ralf is very kind and welcoming, He is also very open and is a great communicator.

Tips for new guests?
The Campspace is located behind the house therefore it is handy that you don't pull in with larger RV vehicles into the driveway in the front of the house.
