About this location
The tent/camping site is located above our garden on our property, which is located directly in the center of Mengersgereuth-Hämmern in the municipality of Frankenblick, picturesquely embedded in wooded mountain ridges in the middle of nature, far from noisy traffic, but easily accessible by bus, car and the South Thuringia Railway.
On our property, a former small farm with a view of the surrounding mountain slopes, there is a spacious garden with various seating areas (including covered ones) and barbecue facilities, which you are welcome to use.
Within walking distance of about 500m you will find several shops for your daily needs, a playground, a pharmacy, several doctor's offices, a bank, bus stops and the train station.
In summer, hikes or bike tours on the numerous hiking and cycling trails around the town offer you rest and relaxation in the healthy forest air.
In winter, you'll find the perfect conditions for extended ski tours on 50 km of groomed trails. For advanced skiers, the slopes of the Silbersattel Ski Arena in Steinach are just 4 km away.
In the nearby toy town of Sonneberg, you can visit the toy museum, relax in the SonneBad, feed sharks in the sea aquarium, or admire, among other things, the smallest and largest teddy bears in the world in the German Teddy Bear Museum.

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
