Hungry Hill Lodge and Campsite is situated in the heart of the Beara Peninsula, West Cork on the Wild Atlantic Way, the longest signed coastal drive in the world. We are a family run campsite and next to tent & touring pitches, we have self-catering rooms and glamping accommodation available. We offer personal attention and advice on local attractions.
Within easy reach are numerous towns, villages, art galleries, restaurants and pubs for a pint of the black stuff! Pegs mini mart is only 100 meters from the site where you can buy local and home baked produce.
Our campsite is an excellent base for walking and cycling. Nearby are two golf courses, riding stables, sailing, kayaking and there is excellent shore fishing. Explore what we have to offer and book a pitch, room or glamping cottage today.

It's got the look of a cosy, old shepherd's hut and offers you the luxury comfort of a tiny house.
Having a double bed with an upper single bed, it's suitable for max. 2 adults and 1 child. The wooden framed porch overlooks the campsite and has it's own outdoor seating area. Dogs are not permitted.

Log Cabin

This cosy and charming log cabin sits in a quiet corner next to the main lodge building.
The cabin was recently upgraded (2025) and has its own bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower.
There's a fully equipped kitchen with kettle, hob, toaster and refrigerator. Tea and coffee making facilities are available.
The bedroom has a double bed and bunk bed.
There's an electric heater available for chilly days.
The log cabin is perfect situated for exploring West Cork.
The south facing porch overlooks the campsite with additional seating.
There is a washing machine & tumble dryer available against payment on the campsite grounds.
Dogs are not permitted inside the Log Cabin.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

Smoking is not allowed inside our accommodation and other buildings. Dogs are not permitted inside our accommodation, but they are allowed on our campsite as long as they are kept on a lead.
